I’m Neludi, originally from Sri Lanka. Negombo coastal area. Where people highly talk about food and tourism. Yes…!!! We are very famous for delicious “ මීගමු කළපු ඉස්සෝ සහ කකුළුවෝ” Negombo Lagoon prawns and crabs. This blog is mainly about Sri Lankan food, authentic flavour. Most of them are from our family, what my grandma taught to her daughter, and what she taught to me. Honestly wanna share our family secrets, country secrets with you all. I’m trying to share the best and the best recipes with my audience. So guys, collect your spices and get ready to burn yourselves with Sri Lankan spiciness. 

Currently living in Italy. It’s almost a decade. Learned thousands and thousands of authentic and modern Italian cuisine through out this decade. Love this culture and food as much as I love Sri Lanka. The way they slow cook bolognese, the style and tricks they use to knead the fresh pasta dough, way the old Italian nonna roll up the orecchiette, art of filling fresh tortellini and ravioli, homemade tomato sauces made before end of the tomato season and there are many more to learn from them. 

Both these countries are art of cuisine, live people who love food and culture. High in tourist attraction. If you are visiting these two countries don’t ever forget to eat well and visit historical places. The amazing views, culture and people. They all show you the soul.
