Spicy shrimps? Who would say “No” All you need is some steamed rice and creamy dhal curry to start the Zumba in your tummy with these. Spicy sautéed shrimps are what we usually call “Isso Thel Dala/ඉස්සෝ තෙල් දාලා…. This dish always takes part in our family, when it is special. As how I always mentioned, I grew up with eating loads and loads of seafoods in my life. When I was in Sri Lanka, it’s very rarely I had meat on my plates.

When it’s the period  fishermen catch those tinny lagoon shrimps are the best season of shrimps. those are  very difficult even to hold. You hold them by two fingers and remove only the head. My mom sauté them with loads of onion and dried chilli flakes and sometimes cook a delicious curry based with creamy coconut milk. You know  those two curries are perfectly match with freshly baked hot hot roast paan. You can’t buy that happiness man.

Cooked this delicious hot and spicy shrimps just to rememberer my childhood. Here what I had. So happy to share this with you all.
